QUILTING 101- THE BASICS

In this beginning quilt class, you will learn about quilting rules, tools, tricks and how fun it is to cut up fabric, sew them back together again to make beautiful, one of a kind, quilts. You will practice cutting fabric with a rotary cutter and mat, the essential 1/4 seam and finally make a basic quilt block. We hope this class will be the beginning of a passion for quilting. You will be sewing.

QUILTING 102- PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

In Quilting 102 you will plan a project, read a pattern, understand the basic components that makes up most every quilt block. Fabric selection including scale, value and color will also be discussed. Quilt math will be introduced. You will be sewing.

QUILTING 103- JUST DO IT

Now we're cooking with oil! You are working on your quilt project so come with questions, help needed, or if you are still a little hesitant to Just Doing It. We will discuss building a fabric stash or use what you have, what excellent reference and pattern books you may want to build for your quilt library. You will be sewing on your project
